SEAFRONT STUDIOS & APARTMENTS lays on the seaside, just 50m from a blue flag pebble beach,and next to a mini market with fresh groceries. The site is calm, only 5 minutes by car from the port and the central square (2,7km) and about 11 min from the airport. The bus stop is outside. At 300m there are restaurants, super markets more beaches and the suburb of maritime Vrontado. Conveniently situated next to the junction of the new peripheral to the south and west of the island with the main road to the north ,offers easy access to all directions.

Chios town is very lively with lots of restaurants, bars, coffee houses and shops. The archaelogical museum, byzantine museum, Korais Library, Ottoman Baths, Maritime museum are only some of the sights that are worth to visit.

Chios

Chios is considered one of the most interesting and best preserved islands of the north east Aegean Sea. An island with medieval villages and authentic churches made of stone, unspoiled, intact beaches with clean and transparent water and the flavor of mastic. Blessed from nature and rich in history, in tradition and gastronomy, Chios is a gem to discover throughout the seasons.

The historic, natural and architectural environment of the island is particularly important. The excavations at various places like Agio Galas and Emporios show that the island has been inhabited since the Neolithic period and the Bronze Age (6000-2000BC). Around 1100-1000BC, Chios was inhabited by Ionians and over the years it has become one of the most important cities of ancient times.

Over the centuries, Romans, Byzantines, Genovese and Ottomans have left their mark on the island.

Chios is situated on the Eastern and Western crossroads which inhibit rare kinds of plant species not seen in the rest of Greece. These include 1260 species of flora which follow the typical Mediterranean ecosystem such as: wild orchids, the lalades (tulips), citrus of Kampos and unique mastic.
